If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. We Don’t Share nor Sell your Contact Information Provided Through the Website, contact form or opt-in/opt-out for. 

How long we retain your data

If you submit a quote request, its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have requested a quote, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

ExecuShip respects your privacy. By opting into our SMS messaging service, you agree to the following terms regarding how we handle your data:

– Data Collection: We will collect your name, email address, mailing address, and mobile phone number when you sign up for SMS updates. The information will be collected via the website contact form, email, rental agreement.
– Data Usage: We use your data solely for Schedule / confirm appointments, provide customer support related to the location of the vehicle.
– Data Security: We protect your data with secure storage measures to prevent unauthorized access.
– Data Retention: We retain your information as long as you are subscribed to our SMS service. You may request deletion at anytime.
– Message and Data Rates May Apply: Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages, especially if you do not have an unlimited texting or data plan.
– Messages are recurring, and message frequency varies.

– Opt-Out: You can opt out of SMS list at anytime by texting, emailing, or replying STOP  or CANCEL to wecare@execuship.com or (847) 289-0808. After unsubscribing, you will receive a final SMS to confirm you have unsubscribed and we will remove your number form our list within 24 hours.
– You can send HELP for additional assistance, email and website. We are here to help you.
– Non-Sharing Clause: We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Execuship will not sell, rent, or share the collected mobile numbers.
– We use SMS to schedule / confirm appointments, provide customer support as well as on the road updates.
