About this service
Enclosed Carrier Shipping with ExecuShip
Enclosed transport puts your vehicle inside a fully walled trailer, out of the weather and away from road debris, usually with a hydraulic lift gate so low-clearance cars load flat rather than up a ramp. Most enclosed trailers carry between two and six vehicles, so your car is handled less and shares the ride with fewer neighbours. It is the standard choice for collector cars, exotics, show cars, freshly restored vehicles and anything whose value makes the premium an easy decision.

What is included
- Hard-sided trailer with no weather or debris exposure
- Hydraulic lift gate so low cars and non-runners load level, never up a ramp
- Soft tie-downs rather than chains over the wheels
- Two to six vehicles per load instead of eight to ten
- Higher cargo limits available for high-value vehicles
Pricing
The estimator prices your exact ZIP pair with a per-mile rate that steps down on longer runs, plus a $195 base and any vehicle-class adjustment. Estimates reflect open-carrier, door-to-door service. Enclosed transport adds a flat $500. Final rate confirmed before dispatch. Or call (855) 500-7447 and an advisor prices it on the line.
How it works
Five Steps, One Advisor
From rate to delivery with the same transportation advisor on your file. Your card is not touched until a carrier has been assigned.
I
Get your rate
Enter two ZIP codes and your vehicle class. The estimator prices the real road distance and shows open and enclosed figures on screen.
II
Book
A transportation advisor confirms the details and your preferred pickup window. Nothing is charged yet.
III
Dispatch
We assign your vehicle to a vetted carrier with verified cargo coverage and send you the driver's details.
IV
Pickup
You get a call the day before. At pickup the driver walks the vehicle with you and notes its condition on the Bill of Lading, which you both sign.
V
Delivery
A second call comes before arrival. You compare the vehicle against the pickup report, sign off, and settle the balance with the driver.

Enclosed Carrier Shipping Questions
What does enclosed transport cost?
A flat $500 on top of the open-carrier estimate, whatever the distance. The estimator shows both figures side by side.
Should I choose enclosed?
If the vehicle is a classic, an exotic, has custom paint or wrap, has less than five inches of ground clearance, or is worth upward of $75,000, yes. For a daily driver, open transport is the sensible choice.
Does enclosed take longer?
Transit speed is the same once the vehicle is loaded. Pickup can take a few extra days because there are fewer enclosed trailers on any given lane.
